COMPARE BLUE LEDS - Blue Light LED therapy diodes
Out of all the Blue led panels I reviewed, nearly all of them were plastic and had plastic lens diodes that have such a weak power output it would not melt the plastic lens. And the commercial type, many had metal frames and glass or silicone lens diodes but did not have the wavelength (continuous wavelength in real world operations) that the FDA studies cleared it for.

These are usually the really cheap models, usually the diodes that are in the hand held. 415nm and 420nm are the most expensive diodes to produce. The SLT style diode that Lightwave has and the Poly LED brand has an entire panel of just blue LEDs. This is the only company that has just a blue led therapy panel with no other red or infrared LEDS. It is so intense and the wattage of the blue Poly panel and the fluence over the area being treated is as high as I have found. It is a very expensive LED panel I have to say. If anything is gonna kill the bacteria with someone with a lot of acne this should do it. Those that are looking for the highest intensity blue Led panel on the market at this time see my Poly Review. This is the strongest fluence blue LED panel I found. It has lower wattage than the Lightwave Panel but the fluence makes up for the lower wattage. The POLY led company is the newest commercial LED brand on the market at this time.
If getting any LED, in order to avoid returns and hassels, I always make sure when I know the wavelength I want to know whats the variance in nanometers. Some will say they don't know while most websites claim plus or minus 10 nanometers. Take my LED questionnaire here if you want a recommendation on a LED based on your answers.
Warning
If you are using LED on patients
NEVER USE AN 80MW or higher wattage LED mor than 3 times per week on the same area.
Never use a blue LEd and red LED at the same time during a session or within 48 hours. An infrared light is ok but a session with BLUE and then immediately with RED is NOT recommended.
These are SBT diodes. These are the most advanced diodes (no plastic lenses and these can be ZP infused in 3 days). They are spaced out just a little more than the POLY LED blue only panel that has less wattage.
This laser has less fluence but this panel has the latest SBT diodes (Lightwave). The Lightwave blue led panel has the wavelength that the FDA studies were done on. According to the spectrometer tests, the variance in bandwidth on a SBT diode has the least variance of any previous generation diodes. Least scatter and most concentrated penetration.
I really have no words for this. The picture tells it all. Low fluence, low wattage. I asked what their diode wattage was and they didn't even know.
Warning:
Blue LEDs can also have negative side effects. It can harm mitochondrial cell function. I urge practitoiners to know the true power density of their LED panel to give clients the right dose. Those companies that have high wattage panels can calculate the dosage also by having the led panel the same distance away from the body each session. An 80mw/cm2 can become a 40mw/cm2 just by having it at a certain safe distance.
Update
Note: If getting a blue LED device, I make sure it has true 420nm diodes and stay at that that 420nm the entire time, not just the peak of 420nm on the bell curve and most of the diodes are higher or lower than 420. Also, the blue light does NOT help kill bacteria for those with skin problems. The 420nm blue light helps attract what is already in the body (Porphyrins). These hold oxygen that help kill the bacteria from behind, not actually the light killing it from the front. Many people use it for acne and the more intense the exposure to the 420nm blue light the more it can pull oxygen to the surface of the skin.

This is one of our newest blue LED panels for the face. It has 72 jumbo sized blue LEDs. This sells for around 2900. I can discount them for those looking to do a review. This is much cheaper than the POLY blue panel that has nearly 1800 LEDs. This is made in Germany and I offer a 30 day trial on this at this time.
